About Us

Overjoy is building Sales AI for B2B commerce. Our mission is to enable 10x sales teams by bringing modern software and AI to a long-underserved industry: B2B sales for consumer brands.

Over 800 modern brands like Tipsy Elves, P.F. Candle Co., and David Protein use Overjoy to find new prospects, run outreach, manage accounts, and scale wholesale revenue, without the bloat of legacy platforms.

We're backed by Bessemer, OSV, Floodgate and founders of Thumbtack, Alloy, and Unsupervised. Six of our own customers invested after using the product.

The Role

We're hiring our first business generalist to build the systems that let Overjoy move faster as it scales, and to run the strategic growth bets.

You'll work directly with our founder on the highest-leverage problems in the business. Some weeks that means turning repeated, manual work into clean processes, reporting, and workflows. Other weeks it means taking an ambiguous bet and running it end to end, from scope to a measured outcome.

This is a builder's operations role with real surface area. You won't inherit a playbook. You'll write it. You'll own systems that touch sales, customers, and the whole company, and you'll grow into owning the strategy behind our next bets, not just the execution.

What You'll Own

  • Strategic projects: market research, expansion experiments, pricing analysis, and partner programs

  • Growth strategy: scope and run new growth bets end to end, from idea to a measured outcome

  • Sales team scaling: the systems that help the sales team sell more, from pipeline reporting and lead routing to outbound and sales process

  • Operations & process: the systems that keep the company running, from onboarding and customer workflows to dashboards, documentation, and hiring coordination

You Might Be a Fit If You

  • Take an ambiguous problem in and return a solution, or a clear plan plus the right questions

  • Have experience working with internal operations and process building

  • Are comfortable running zero-to-one growth projects

  • Want real ownership of outcomes, not a scoped lane

Extra Points For

  • Prior founding, BizOps, RevOps, chief-of-staff, or early-stage generalist role where you owned outcomes

  • A track record of building something new from scratch

Why Overjoy?

Build for a real problem in a wildly underserved market. Brand founders with multiple exits tell us, "I wish I had Overjoy when I launched my first brand." We're bringing modern software to a part of commerce that's been overlooked for too long.

AI that actually gets used daily. This isn't hype. Our customers use AI daily to find leads, write emails, qualify prospects, and drive sales, often without even realizing it's AI.

You're joining the ground floor. You'll shape how the company operates and grows from day one, and own systems and bets that define those motions for years.

Real room to grow. This is a high-trajectory role with significant ownership and equity to match. As you prove yourself, the scope and scale of what you own grows with you.

We're growing fast. We 5x'd our revenue in 2025, and we're looking to do it again in 2026. We're scaling quickly, and so will your impact.

Why You Shouldn't Join

This isn't a 9-to-5 job. We're doing hard things with a small team, and it's intense. We won't sugarcoat that.

You'll take full ownership of ambiguity. Problems will land on your desk with no system and no playbook. You'll build the system, run the bet, and own the outcome. That autonomy is exciting and also stressful. It's not for everyone.

You'll wear a lot of hats. One day you're cleaning up an ops process. The next you're scoping a new vertical or standing up a reporting workflow. If you prefer clearly defined roles and boundaries, this isn't the right environment.
